“Cabbage Key. Wonderful experience great staff & J-Mee too”

Reviewed October 28, 2013 by David T of Sarasota

We just spent a wonderful weekend at Cabbage Key. The food was great and the accommodations in the Rinehart cottage were excellent. Upon departure we found that we had left some items in the cottage. A quick phone call back to Cabbage Key was all it took for them to secure the items and wait for our return to pick them up. J-Mee Ely, the Manager, was especially helpful during our stay as well as assisting us in retrieving our items. It was a wonderful opportunity for a relaxing carefree weekend and could not of been handled better by the staff. Everyone we met went out of their way to assure that we had a great time, and indeed we did. We can’t wait to go back to this old Florida hideaway again.

“For my birthday”

Reviewed November 20, 2015 by Chris S of St. Petersburg, Florida

Stayed in the “Rinehart Cottage” which has been beautifully refurbished and is extremely comfortable, peaceful, quiet, just what I had hoped for. The entire staff was excellent from check in to check out. the food was fantastic, everyone was friendly and although we have visited several times before this was one of my most excellent visits. Special thanks to Jen and Jessica our waitresses, Becky at the Bar, and Rhonda for check-in/check-out and special attention. Highly recommended and I can’t wait to come back again. Love love live it All

“The Butler Did It – Rinehart‡ Cottage”

Reviewed December 22, 2015 by SightSee-ers of Michigan

Celebrated our anniversary with two nights in the Rinehart Cottage at the Cabbage Key Inn. Cabbage Key is only accessible by water – there are no cars or stores other than the hotel restaurant and marina gift shop. So we brought along a few munchies and drinks (water as well – since the island uses well water). It was a perfect place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other.

“Total Relaxation!”

Reviewed February 11, 2014 by Kim L of Lansing, Michigan

I found Cabbage Key online and booked two nights. The food, staff and accommodations were amazing! Not stuffy, but laid back where everybody knows your name! Loved every minute of it. Booked a room in the Inn but they upgraded us to the Rinehart Cottage which was fantastic. Clean and everything we needed. Watched the Gopher Tortoises from our screen porch, walked the trails on the island. Wrote the first two chapters of the book I’ve been saying I would write someday! Would go back in a heartbeat.
